Colorful Acrylic – Expressive Impressionist Painting Series @

Feel the joy and freedom of colorful painting on canvas as you express yourself freely like an impressionist painter! In this encouraging, intimidation-free painting class, you learn how to paint with loose, colorful and expressive brushstrokes while enjoying the sumptuous painting journey every step of the way. You will also receive individualized, tailor-made art instruction based on your personal needs and interests.

This  class will nourish your creative soul as you learn to release prior rigid rules and expectations and instead, develop your own authentic painting style while practicing the techniques and styles inspired by Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, Mary Cassat’s floral still lives, and Pissaro’s landscapes filled with dappled light. Combining the inspiration of impressionist painters with the relaxing joy of painting as our muse, you will learn the most important canvas painting techniques while also discovering an impressive, colorful and expressive painting style of your own.

Materials are not included.

You will need:

• Stretched Canvas or Canvas board – Recommended size is 11 x 14 or smaller
• Acrylic Paints (White, Yellow, Red, Blue, and any other favorite colors you may have)
• Variety of Brushes (3 different sizes to make various lines and marks)
• Cup of Water
• Palette for paints
• Wax paper or a palette paper
